HealthTech’s independence and objectivity is among its most important asset. The Board of Directors
and staff work to ensure independence in every aspect of HealthTech's Research. The four key principles
of our ethics’ policy are:
- Independence
- Reliability
- Integrity
- Transparency
In support of these principles, HealthTech:
- does not accept money from developers of technology.
- takes every precaution to keep technology forecasts and policy analyses free of bias or influence.
- purposely restricts membership and the sources of funding to maintain independence.
- publicly discloses all potential conflicts of interest.
- maintains collaborative relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.
- does not support or endorse individual companies or products.
- does not sell consulting or other services to individual members.
- provides access to research and planning tools to all HealthTech Partners.
- supports safety net providers with low-cost access to resources and information.
- provides references and contact information for all experts and literature.
